Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore and Indiana offensive lineman Carter Smith follow him as the second-highest rated players at 97 overall. Here's a look at this year's top 10 overall player ratings.

Smith's 99 overall rating isn't all that surprising considering the way he's started his career. In just two seasons, he's racked up 2,558 yards and 27 touchdowns, firmly establishing himself as the best wide receiver in college football.
Moore, who is also entering his junior season, was outstanding for the Fighting Irish last year, collecting 31 tackles, seven passes defended and five interceptions. Carter Smith, meanwhile, anchored one of the best offensive lines in the country last year as Indiana won a national championship.
Missouri's Ahmad Hardy and Cayden Green represent the only pair of teammates in the top 10.
As far as position alrankings, Oregon's Dante Moore leads the quarterbacks with a 95 overall rating, followed by Ohio State's Julian Sayin (94) and Ole Miss' Trinidad Chambliss (93).
Ole Miss' Kewan Lacy and Missouri's Hardy lead the running back group at 96 overall.
The Big Ten boasts the top overall team rankings, as Oregon (91), Ohio State (90) and Indiana (90) top that list.
But to find the best crowd and atmosphere, you'll have to go down south, as Lane Kiffin's LSU is ranked as the toughest place to play.
EA Sports, which revamped its college football franchise in 2024, will release College Football 27 on July 9, with three- and seven-day early access options available depending on which version you purchase.
