Mexico waited until the second half to open the scoring inside the Estadio Azteca.
Mateo Chavez netted the opener in the 55th minute. He blistered down the right side of the Czechia defense and slotted home his first World Cup goal.
Julian Quinones continued his terrific World Cup with Mexico's second goal six minutes later.
Quinones scored the first goal of the tournament as well. He'll be a vital part of the El Tri attack in the knockout round alongside Raul Jimenez.
The fans inside the Azteca got to celebrate the career of goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa late in the second half.
The 40-year-old Ochoa was subbed on to a standing ovation ahead of what will likely be his last World Cup appearance.
Alvaro Fidalgo put the exclamation mark on the Mexico victory with a 94th-minute strike that extended the lead to three goals.
Mexico now gets to focus on the round of 32, where it faces a third-place team in Mexico City on June 30. El Tri's opponent will not be determined until Friday or Saturday depending on results across other groups.
