Kewan Lacy, Ahmad Hardy and Top 10 RB Player Ratings for EA's CFB 27 Video Game
The top 10 running backs in EA Sports College Football 27 have been revealed, and Ole Miss' Kewan Lacy and Missouri's Ahmad Hardy lead the way at 96 overall.
Neither player's placement is any surprise.
Lacy just amassed an SEC-high 24 rushing touchdowns, just one short of North Texas' Caleb Hawkins for the most in Division I-FBS. He was a workhorse for an Ole Miss team that reached the College Football Playoff semifinal, totaling 306 carries, the most in Division I-FBS. Lacy also gained 1,567 yards on the ground in addition to 177 yards in the air on 29 receptions.
Hardy just ran for an SEC-high 6.6 yards per carry. He earned consensus All-American honors at running back alongside Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love (now an Arizona Cardinal). His 1,649 rushing yards also led the SEC. Hardy scored three touchdowns in a game on three separate occasions and rushed for 300 yards in a 49-27 home win over Mississippi State.
They appear to be the top running backs in the nation going into 2026, but other players ranked highly per EA Sports College Football 27 can make their case as well.
Of note, Miami's Mark Fletcher Jr. (93) played a key role in guiding the Hurricanes to the national championship game, rushing for 507 yards in five playoff games. Louisville's Isaac Brown (92) has rushed for 7.7 yards per carry over his two seasons with the Cardinals. And Rutgers' Antwan Raymond just broke out in his sophomore season for 1,466 total yards and 15 scores.
This year's edition of EA Sports' college football game will drop on July 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
