Saints' Cameron Jordan, Colts' Quenton Nelson Named to NFL's Top 100 List Ahead of 2026 NFL Season
New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan and Indianapolis Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson kicked off NFL Network's annual ranking of the top 100 players in the league.
Jordan's peers voted him into the No. 100 position, with Nelson claiming the next spot:
Nelson has been a Pro Bowler in each of his first eight seasons in the NFL. Because of his position, his exploits might've gotten somewhat overlooked, though.
He hasn't cracked the Top 100 since 2022.
The Colts sputtered to an 8-9 finish a year ago. They lost their final seven games, including four after quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a torn Achilles.
Nelson held up his end of the bargain at least.
Indianapolis tied for 10th in yards per carry (4.5) and allowed the seventh-fewest sacks. ESPN.com ranked Nelson 14th in pass block win rate among interior linemen.
This is Jordan's first appearance in the Top 100 since 2023, and returning to the list reflects how much his production on the field improved.
Having combined for six sacks between 2023 and 2024, the 36-year-old finished with 10.5 in 2025. He added 15 tackles for loss and 15 hits on the quarterback.
Among edge-rushers, Jordan ranked sixth in run stop win rate at ESPN.com, so he continued to be a balanced defender along New Orleans' line.
The eight-time Pro Bowler is looking to conclude his career on a high. Earlier this month, he signed a one-year contract with New Orleans and celebrated the agreement with a video on social media. It ended by saying "one team" and "one final season," so retirement appears to be in the offing.
Jordan has spent his entire NFL career with the Saints, who selected him in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft. He's bound to be remembered as one of the best players in franchise history.
