Stefon Diggs Debuts New Jersey Number with Commanders in Video from 1st Practice

After officially signing his contract, Stefon Diggs made his first on-field appearance with the Washington Commanders during Friday's practice wearing a new jersey number.

Diggs was seen wearing No. 18 with his new team.

Assuming the number sticks, it will be Diggs' fourth different jersey number in the NFL. He wore No. 14 for his first nine seasons between the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills.

After being traded to the Houston Texans prior to the 2024 season, Diggs switched to No. 1. He used No. 8 last season with the New England Patriots.

The Commanders' No. 18 was taken by safety Tyler Owens prior to the start of last season. It's unclear if Diggs made a deal for it or if he is just using it temporarily.
