Matheus Cunha was the star for Brazil in the first half.
The Manchester United forward bagged goals in the 23rd and 36th minutes inside Lincoln Financial Field.
Cunha cleaned up a rebound from a Vinicius Junior shot to open the scoring for the Selecao.
Cunha produced a delightful finish into the top part of the net 13 minutes to double the Brazilian advantage.
Vinicius got on the score sheet for the second straight game in the 45th minute by way of a cool finish in wide-open space on the left side of the box.
Brazil didn't find the back of the net in the second half against a Haitian side that held its own in its first two Group C contests.
Haiti hasn't scored in either game, but it generated plenty of chances against Scotland and Brazil.
Brazil enters Matchday 3 in a competition with Morocco for the top spot in Group C.
If Morocco beats Haiti and Brazil defeats Scotland, Brazil needs to finish with a superior goal differential to win Group C. Brazil currently owns a two-goal advantage in the goal differential column.
Morocco wins Group C if it beats Haiti and Brazil draws or loses to Scotland, or if it outscores Brazil on goal differential.
Scotland is still in the mix for the Group C victory as well. It needs to beat Brazil on Matchday 3 and have Morocco tie or lose against Haiti.
The eight best third-place teams make it through to the knockout round. There's a strong likelihood that Brazil, Morocco and Scotland all advance.
Haiti will be playing for pride on Wednesday in its final World Cup match against Morocco.
