New York Knicks guard Jose Alvarado got a taste of what's awaiting he and his teammates for Thursday's parade in New York City.
Hours before the event's 10 a.m. ET start, the Brooklyn native was interviewed on Good Morning America. He said it's "crazy" to be part of the Knicks team that finally brought another championship to the Big Apple.
Alvarado was also taken aback a bit when he looked at a nearby monitor showing the fans who started arriving for the parade:
New York Police Department commissioner Jessica Tisch estimated Wednesday the attendance for the celebration could reach seven figures.
While the Knicks won titles in 1970 and 1973, this will be their first ticker-tape parade down the "Canyon of Heroes."
