OG Anunoby Gives Honest Reaction to His Epic Tip-In After Watching Knicks Highlight 'Quite a Bit'
Having had one week to reflect on his legendary tip-in at the end of Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals, New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby actually hoped it would have gone slightly different.
Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers (starts at 2:22 mark), Anunoby admitted he has seen the highlight "quite a bit" and explained his initial thought was to try dunking the ball before it became clear "pretty soon" that wasn't going to be possible.

"Yeah," Anunoby added when asked if it was as much fun for him to watch as it is for Knicks fans. "It's pretty cool."
The play occurred with 1.2 seconds remaining in Game 4 when Anunoby made a beeline to the basket after Jalen Brunson pulled up for a three with the Knicks trailing the San Antonio Spurs 106-105.
Anunoby somehow got his hand on the ball and directed it back into the basket to give the Knicks the lead. His heroic moment capped off a 29-point comeback, the largest deficit overcome to win an NBA Finals game.
The Knicks closed out the series in Game 5 with a 94-90 victory in San Antonio for their first championship since the 1972-73 season.
