There's no question this Knicks championship was a full organizational effort.
The players are rightfully and understandably getting the bulk of the credit, but the hire of Mike Brown was crucial. His offense was more varied than previous versions. He empowered his reserves. And his demeanor, as seen here, seems easy to be around.
And the credit doesn't even stop there. Brown's shirt references an inspiring pre-playoff speech from owner James Dolan, who fired up his team and asked it to lock in for just 10 weeks to become legends.
The players did exactly that, and they were rewarded with legendary status.
