WWE's Danhausen Requests 1-Day Knicks Contract After Uncursing Team En Route to NBA Title
WWE star Danhausen is requesting a one-day contract from the New York Knicks so he can retire as an NBA champion.
Danhausen has a penchant for cursing wrestlers, who soon are afflicted with all kinds of bad will.
He can also "uncurse" people and also sports teams, apparently, and did so prior to Game 6 of the Knicks' first-round matchup with the Atlanta Hawks after a Cameo request from J-Starr of BodySlam.net.
The Knicks won that game 140-89 and went 13-1 overall for the remainder of the playoffs.
Danhausen took credit for the Knicks' win.
It seems like Knicks point guard (and WWE fan) Jalen Brunson might be on the same page.
We'll see if Danhausen lands his contract, which would presumably be a cap friendly deal that would keep the Knicks below the first and second aprons.
Maybe the Knicks will consider a championship ring, a spot in the parade down the Canyon of Heroes or his own banner on the Madison Square Garden rafters.
Regardless, the Knicks are champions after 53 years after one of the greatest playoff runs in NBA history.
