Lamine Yamal Spotted in Georgia Walmart in Trending Video Ahead of 2026 World Cup

Days away from Spain kicking off its run in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Lamine Yamal proved his regular-guy bonafides by shopping at a Walmart in Georgia.

Video was taken showing the 18-year-old superstar walking around the department store.

The footage was taken in Oglethorpe, Georgia. The Spanish national team is staying in the area with its first two group stage matches scheduled to be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Yamal's status for the start of the World Cup remains up in the air as he recovers from a hamstring injury suffered on April 22 with Barcelona. Head coach Luis de la Fuente said on Monday they expect the young phenom to be ready for the opener.

Spain will begin its World Cup journey on Monday against Cape Verde in the first match in Group H.
