Did Giannis Troll NBA Trade Rumors, Links to Heat? NBA Fans Sound Off on Song in Trending IG Post
With the unofficial deadline for a resolution to the Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks situation approaching, the two-time NBA MVP has fans guessing about what his latest Instagram post means.
Antetokounmpo post an image of himself on the social-media site set to the Drake song "Somebody Loves Me" that contains the lyrics: "We in Miami turning up another notch."

Given that the Miami Heat are reportedly at the top of Antetokounmpo's list of preferred landing spots, fans are trying to figure out if there's any fire to this smoke or yet another instance of him trying to troll people off the scent.
The actual post is from Antetokounmpo's trip to Monaco for the F1 event in Europe last weekend that he captioned: "Grand Prix mode: On!"
Using a Drake track that contains a reference to Miami and is about his desire for "somebody who loves me/somebody who really loves me" to top off the post is definitely either something or nothing.
Antetokounmpo's history of trolling makes it hard to know what, if anything, should be taken seriously.
Things have gotten so out of hand with the speculation about Antetokounmpo's future that Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press had to report the 10-time All-Star spent a few days in Miami last week because he was doing business for the FIFA World Cup.
On the bright side, all of this does seem like it is going to end within the next two weeks. Bucks co-governor Jimmy Haslam said after the lottery they will make a decision about Antetokounmpo before the draft.
Expectations throughout the NBA right now are that it's likely Antetokounmpo will be traded. The Heat and Boston Celtics have been cited as the most frequent potential landing spots.
The 2026 NBA draft will take place on June 23 and 24 from Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
