Vinicius Jr. Announced for Fortnite in Video, Will Get Custom Skins, Emote Ahead of 2026 World Cup
In conjunction with the 2026 World Cup, gamers will be able to play as Brazil star Vinícius Júnior in Fortnite.
The popular video game is adding dedicated skins, an emote and items for the 2024 Ballon d'Or runner-up. The skins are inspired by both his national team and club squad, Real Madrid.
Vini Jr. is coming off a somewhat frustrating 2025-26 season.
Real Madrid finished second in La Liga, eight points behind rival Barcelona, and exited in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. That brought plenty of criticism toward the team's biggest stars, Vini included.
The World Cup is an opportunity to put all of that behind him.
Brazil is 11th in Bleacher Report's World Cup power rankings. The Seleção boast plenty of talent, and coach Carlo Ancelotti has consistently demonstrated an ability to push the right buttons in knockout tournaments at the club level.
Should the five-time world champions go on a deep run, Vini Jr. is bound to play a large role.
