Arkansas AD Calls Out SEC Over Game Times, Schedule Creates 'Welfare Issue' for Players

Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek called out the SEC and ESPN on Wednesday, saying he was "extremely concerned and displeased" that the football program was scheduled for a a 10:15 p.m. ET kickoff against Utah on Sept. 12 followed by an 12 p.m. ET kickoff against Georgia on Sept. 19.

Yurachek said in his statement he was worried about the "impact it will have on the well-being of our student-athletes" given the corresponding travel schedule:

More than a few fanbases aren't thrilled with early or late start times, but it's rare to see it extend to a public statement by an athletic director. It will be interesting to see how both ESPN and the SEC respond.
