Former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins made it clear protecting the children in his organization is the priority after video emerged showing he had to be held back during his son's AAU game.
"Damn right and it probably won't be the last time!" he wrote on social media Wednesday. "I'm going to protect every single kid in my organization like they're my own."

Trade or Keep Bulls' 1st-Rounder? 🤔
This comes after Perkins was ejected from an AAU game in 2023.
He addressed that ejection on air at the time during an episode of NBA Today:
As for the latest incident, TMZ Sports reported it happened at the Trae Young Family Athletic Center in Norman, Oklahoma, on Sunday, and a "non-basketball play on one of his players set him off."
The Norman Police Department said nothing warranted criminal charges or any further involvement after the situation dissipated.
Perkins played in the NBA from the 2003-04 season until the 2017-18 one for the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans Pelicans. He helped the Celtics win the NBA title during the 2007-08 campaign and was known as a physical interior presence at his peak.
He averaged 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game during his career.
