Knicks' Historic NBA Finals Ticket Prices Shown in Trending Photo After Sweep of Cavs
Get ready to spend thousands of dollars if you plan on attending a 2026 NBA Finals game in Madison Square Garden.
As Front Office Sports relayed Monday after the New York Knicks completed their Eastern Conference Finals sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the get-in prices are quite high for all three of the NBA Finals games scheduled in the Garden:
Of course, those prices are bargains compared to the courtside seats.
Steve Popper of Newsday noted two courtside tickets are available for Game 3 for the low, low price of $595,000, while Darren Rovell of CLLCT reported the first two courtside seats sold for approximately $280,000:
To say there is excitement surrounding this Knicks team would be an understatement.
After all, the franchise hasn't won the championship since the 1972-73 campaign and is returning to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. The team has also caught fire in the playoffs with 11 straight wins after falling behind 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks in the first round.
Still, those prices are astronomical to get into Madison Square Garden. That may explain why so many Knicks fans have attended their team's games on the road this playoffs, as going to Cleveland and Philadelphia may have been the more financially beneficial decision:
Knicks fans certainly took over Cleveland during Monday's Game 4:
New York supporters had far more to cheer about than Cavaliers ones, as the visitors steamrolled their way to a 130-93 victory. Six different Knicks scored in double figures, and the eventual outcome was clear before halftime.
And now Knicks fans can start looking at those NBA Finals tickets, even if the prices are shocking.
