Wemby's Spurs Beat SGA's Thunder in Game 4, Final Box Score Stats, Highlights & Updated WCF Bracket
Oh, we've got ourselves a series.
Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-82 on Sunday night in the Western Conference Finals, evening the series at two games apiece.
Wemby was the best player on the court, much as he was during his team's Game 1 win, putting up 33 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks. He was a game-high plus-29 during the contest.

Cavs May Make Major Changes

Absurd price for potential Knicks NBA Finals tickets
San Antonio played fantastic defense, forcing 17 OKC turnovers. It helped that the Thunder struggled to make shots, shooting 33 percent from the field and a woeful 18 percent from three (6-of-33). Two-time defending MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a fairly ho-hum night (19 points, 6-of-15 from the field).
The Spurs played fantastic team basketball, meanwhile, finishing with 26 assists as a team. Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell (13 points apiece) had solid nights in supporting roles.
But it's Wemby's world, and we're all just living in it:
It's easy to forget that Wemby is just 22 years old, and that his stranglehold over the NBA could very well last for the next 15 years. The Spurs may not finish the job this season—they are very young, after all, while the Thunder are the defending champions—but they'll surely be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
A man of Wemby's size naturally casts a long shadow. The rest of the NBA may soon find themselves living in it.
