Needless to say, his steely-eyed focus warded off any distractions.
Cignetti also delivered a great line on X after revealing that the rearview mirror was disabled.
Cignetti has enjoyed a legendary two-year run as Indiana's head coach. He took over a Hoosiers team that went 3-9 in 2023 and immediately turned the program around.
Indiana went 11-2 with a College Football Playoff appearance in 2024 before the Hoosiers went 16-0 in 2025 en route to their first-ever national championship.
He's established himself as a legend in the state of Indiana (and college football, for that matter), so it's no surprise he was asked to drive the Indy 500 pace car for the 110th edition of the race.
