Gio Reyna has been selected to the United States men's national soccer team's World Cup roster, per Paul Tenorio and Tom Bogert of The Athletic.
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly picked his 26-man team, and players were told whether or not they made the squad on Friday, per The Athletic. An official roster announcement is expected Tuesday in New York.

Midfielder Sebastian Berhalter has also made the squad, per The Athletic. The same goes for winger Brenden Aaronson, center back Mark McKenzie and goalkeeper Matt Turner.
However, Real Salt Lake teammates Diego Luna and Zavier Gozo have not made the team.
The United States is hosting the World Cup for the second time overall and first time since 1994. This year, the U.S. is hosting the event alongside Canada and Mexico.
After missing the tournament entirely in 2018, the United States returned to the World Cup in 2022 and qualified for the knockout round, whether they lost to the Netherlands in the Round of 16.
This year's squad is in Group D alongside Paraguay, Australia and Turkey. The U.S. the edge on the odds ledger in each of its three group matches, per FanDuel Sportsbook. The Americans are 13th on the World Cup odds list at 65-1. Spain tops that list (9-2), followed by France (+480), England (13-2), Brazil (8-1) and Argentina (9-1).
The United States' first match is on Friday, June 12 against Paraguay in Los Angeles.
