Watch Kevin Durant, Drake Star in Funny Nike Video for New Signature Shoe After 'Iceman' Album

Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant was featured alongside Drake in a new ad teasing their upcoming NOCTA x Nike KD 19 collaboration.

The ad shows Durant showing Drake increasingly ridiculous sneaker ideas before revealing a shoe from their upcoming collection.

A first look at the NOCTA x Nike KD 19 collection showed a range of bright monochrome sneakers, including the blue colorway featured in Wednesday's teaser.

The collection is expected to drop June 17 and retail for $155.

Drake launched his NOCTA collection with Nike in December 2020. The collaboration originally featured streetwear before expanding into sneakers with releases like the NOCTA Glide.

Durant, who first signed with Nike in 2007, inked a lifetime deal with the brand in 2023. The 19th edition of his signature shoe made its on-court debut on March 16 and will be available globally on June 17.

The collaboration between the two comes shortly after Drake released three albums in a simultaneous May 14 drop of Iceman, Maid of Honour and Habibti.

The albums featured references to NBA players including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Wilt Chamberlain, Gilbert Arenas, Muggsy Bogues, Kyrie Irving and Michael Jordan. Durant himself received a name drop on the track "Q&A" from Maid of Honour.

Durant earned his 16th career All-Star nod while averaging 26 points through 28 starts with the Rockets in his age-37 season. He appeared in just one playoff game this spring before he was sidelined with a sprained ankle for the rest of his team's first-round series loss to James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
