Liverpool, Adidas Unveil New Home Kits for 2026-27 EPL Season Inspired by 1989-90 Uniforms

Liverpool FC is debuting a new home kit inspired by the club's run to the 1989-90 league title.

The red shirts feature a geometric pattern honoring the original Adidas design and will be worn with red shorts and socks, according to the club.

Liverpool is also debuting a green colorway featuring the same geometric pattern as part of the goalkeeper's kit.

Liverpool kits featured a similar geometric pattern from 1989-1991, which marked the end of a period of dominance during which the club won 11 top-flight tiles in 17 years.

Arne Slot's team is set to debut the new kit while wapping up Premier League play Sunday against Brentford.

After being unable to defend their Premier League title this season, the club will hope the new look will help spark a stronger campaign in 2026-27.
