Drake's LeBron James Diss on 'Iceman' Album Discussed by Rich Paul, Talks Status of Relationship
Rich Paul, Klutch Sports CEO and agent of LeBron James, weighed in on Drake taking shots at his client on his new album Iceman.
"At the end of the day I think it's important that adults really reconcile down the road and stay out of that stuff…. I don't get involved in that but for me it's just about allowing time to pass and hopefully they can reconcile their differences," Paul said on his Game Over podcast with Max Kellerman (1:05 mark). "I do think in any situation it's important to remove the middle man. I think over time you need the two people to have a conversation if it's able to get there."
On the song "Make Them Remember," Drake seemed to diss James.
"I shouldn't even be shocked to see you in that arena, because you always made your career off of switching teams up," he rapped.
Drake also referenced James in a line that said, "Please stop asking what's going on with 23 and me."
While the two previously were previously friendly with one another, the change in their relationship appeared to occur after James attended Kendrick Lamar's "The Pop Out" concert during Lamar's notable feud with Drake in 2024.
Still, Paul believes that James and Drake can work to find a resolution with a direct conversation in the future.
