AJ Dybantsa NBA Combine 2026 Measurements, Highlights, Results, Latest Mock Draft Landing Spots
BYU star AJ Dybantsa is among the top prospects in the 2026 NBA draft, and he's been impressing at the draft combine in Chicago this week.
Dybantsa was measured at 6'8.5" and 217 pounds with a 7'0.5" wingspan and a standing reach of 8'10". He also had a maximum vertical leap, the highest recorded at the combine so far.
Dybantsa also showed off his speed and agility in the 3/4 court sprint and the pro lane drill:
Dybantsa was also seen doing drills with fellow top prospects Cam Boozer of Duke and Caleb Wilson of UNC:
Both B/R's Jonathan Wasserman and ESPN's Jeremy Woo project Dybantsa to be selected by the Washington Wizards with the No. 1 pick in this year's draft. He finished his freshman year at BYU averaging 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals.
"Nobody seems to have serious worries about Dybantsa," Wasserman stated. "It's obviously easy to project upside around a powerful, 6'9" wing with elite footwork for creation, high-level shotmaking skill, some passing smarts and an NCAA-leading 25.5-point-per-game scoring average at 19 years old. His intangibles appear to be pluses, specifically his intensity, alpha mindset and rumored professionalism."
The Wizards have a strong crop of young talent with Alex Sarr, Kyshawn George and Tre Johnson. They also acquired All-Stars Trae Young and Anthony Davis in trades last season, creating optimism for a bright future.
If the Wizards add a talented prospect like Dybantsa, they could have the chance to emerge from their rebuild and contend for a playoff spot as quickly as next season.
