Relive Allen Iverson's Epic 'Practice' Rant on Anniversary of 76ers Legend's Iconic Video
Twenty-four years ago today the world got to witness one of the most iconic press conference moments in sports history when Allen Iverson told the world about practice.
On May 7, 2002, four days after the Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated from the playoffs, Iverson responded to criticism by head coach Larry Brown about missing practices by going on an epic rant.

Iverson uttered the word "practice" 22 times during the most famous part of the 30-minute press conference.
Per ESPN's Matt Walks, Iverson and Brown had a "contentious relationship" throughout the 2001-02 season that reached a boiling point after their playoff loss because Iverson was late to a team meeting.
Expectations were high for the Sixers going into that season after reaching the NBA Finals the previous year and Iverson won NBA MVP. They ultimately won just 49 games in the regular season, then lost in five games to the Boston Celtics in the first round.
Brown made it through one more season in Philadelphia before he resigned and went on to be hired by the Detroit Pistons. Iverson played 12 of his 14 NBA seasons with the 76ers.
