San Antonio held a 59-35 edge through two quarters.

The Spurs didn't show any signs of slowing down once the third quarter started, leading by as many as 47 points during the second half to wrap up the blowout win and avoid falling into a 2-0 series deficit.

The Spurs were stout defensively and routinely pushed the pace after missed shots, finishing with 29 fast-break points compared to just five for the Timberwolves.

Stephon Castle put together an impressive performance for San Antonio in the victory, amassing 21 points in 24 minutes while shooting 6-of-10 from the field.

The Spurs won with a balanced scoring effort, as seven different players ended the game with at least 10 points.

Minnesota struggled to find any offensive consistency against Wembanyama and San Antonio's perimeter defenders, compiling 39.8/30.0/51.6 shooting splits as a team.

Game 3 between the Spurs and Timberwolves is on Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET.
