Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown reacted to the $50,000 fine that he received from the NBA for criticizing the officiating during the team's first-round playoff loss against the Philadelphia 76ers in seven games.

"They fined me $50K," Brown said during a stream on Wednesday (h/t Zack Cox of the Boston Herald). "Season is over. Embiid cooked us. I'm moving on."

The league announced that Brown was fined for "public criticism of the officiating" following his comments on a Monday Twitch stream.

Brown responded to the 10 offensive fouls that he was called for in the first round on the initial stream.

"Every good basketball player does this. What are y'all talking about? They clearly had an agenda," Brown said Monday, via the Associated Press (h/tĀ ESPN). "If Jaylen does this move, call the offensive foul and follow him every time. I don't know if it's because I pissed the refs off. I've been critical about them, and I called them out a bunch of times. So, they were like, 'You know what, I got you in the playoffs. Watch this.' [Because] that's exactly what they did."

The five-time All-Star continued to discuss his offensive fouls against Philadelphia during his latest stream.

"I had to say something," BrownĀ saidĀ Wednesday (0:12 mark). "There's an inconsistency, and it's there. You called me for all these offensive fouls and that's not the reason why we lost, but Shai is about to win his second MVP with the same move."

Brown was efficient during the clash with the 76ers despite the loss, averaging 25.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 40.5 percent on triples.

Still, Boston was unable to maintain a 3-1 series lead and lost three consecutive matchups with Philadelphia to lose in the first round.

76ers star center Joel Embiid recorded 25.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game while connecting on 42.4 percent of his field goals against the Celtics.
