Dollar is a 5-star prospect listed as the No. 2 tight end and No. 33 overall player in the country as part of the 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports' composite rankings.

He previously visited Georgia's campus for the team's spring game on April 18.

While Dollar was appreciative of the interest he received from all schools, he explained why he ultimately chose the Bulldogs.

"There wasn't a bad opportunity remaining on the board," Dollar said through his brother, Cam, per On3.com's Steve Wiltfong. "Georgia checked the boxes on the things that were most important to me from a relationship standpoint, from a confidence standpoint, from an ability to win national championships standpoint."

"I think the biggest differentiator that will probably go unnoticed is how well I meshed with the guys in the locker room," he added. "The guys in the tight end room at Georgia have very similar abilities which some would run from. I saw it as an opportunity to compete and grow and get better and develop while being around guys I genuinely enjoy being around."

Dollar has played both basketball and football at East Lincoln High School in North Carolina, but particularly stood out on the field.

During his junior season in 2025, he hauled in 54 receptions for 1,190 yards and 20 touchdowns in 12 games (h/t 247Sports' Andrew Ivins).

The Bulldogs have produced multiple NFL tight ends in recent years, highlighted by two-time Pro Bowler Brock Bowers. Oscar Delp, Georgia's top tight end last season, was also selected by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2026 draft.
