Indiana linebacker Rolijah Hardy took to his Instagram Stories (h/t Barstool IU) on Friday to post a photo of all five rings and a small CFP trophy replica:
The Hoosiers went a perfect 16-0 last season and won their first-ever national title in football, led by head coach Curt Cignetti and Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
Cignetti quickly turned around the Indiana football program upon his arrival in 2024, leading the Hoosiers to an 11-2 record and their first CFP berth.
IU reached another level last season, as it rolled to a 12-0 start before outlasting Ohio State 13-10 in the Big Ten Championship Game.
The Hoosiers then proceeded to dominate the CFP, beating Alabama 38-3 in the Rose Bowl and Oregon 56-22 in the Peach Bowl before getting the better of Miami 27-21 in the National Championship Game.
Several key players from the Hoosiers' national title team are expected to be selected in the 2026 NFL draft, and Mendoza led the way as the No. 1 overall pick to the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night.
After decades of being afterthoughts in the Big Ten, Cignetti took the Hoosiers to the pinnacle of college football in only his second season at the helm, and now Indiana is enjoying the spoils of its victory.
