Real Madrid, Barcelona Headline Sportico's List of 2026 Most Valuable Soccer Teams, Top 10 Revealed
Barcelona is ahead of Real Madrid in the La Liga table.
But they aren't ahead of their Spanish counterparts when it comes to financial value.
Sportico released its list of the most valuable soccer clubs in the world on Wednesday, and Real Madrid sits atop the rankings with a valuation of $7.7 billion. Barcelona is second at $6.65 billion.
Here is the full top 10:
| Team | Valuation |
| Real Madrid | $7.7 billion |
| FC Barcelona | $6.65 billion |
| Manchester United | $6.47 billion |
| Bayern Munich | $5.78 billion |
| Liverpool | $5.74 billion |
| Manchester City | $5.7 billion |
| Arsenal | $5.43 billion |
| Paris Saint-Germain | $5 billion |
| Chelsea | $4 billion |
| Tottenham Hotspur | $3.5 billion |
While two La Liga clubs sit in the top two positions, the English Premier League is well represented with six clubs in the top 10.
As Sportico explained, "no one can touch the Premier League" when it comes to television rights contracts. Its international broadcast rights alone are worth more than the four other top European leagues combined.
Throw in domestic rights worth $2.3 billion a year, and it comes as no surprise the league has so many teams in the top 10. It also has 16 of the top 50, which is an increase from 14 last year and nine in 2024.
Still, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona were the only soccer teams to generate more than $1 billion in revenue during the 2024-25 campaign. They were joined by the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL and MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers as the only sports teams in the world to do so.
Barcelona sits atop the La Liga table with 79 points in 31 games, while Real Madrid checks in at second with 73 points in 32 games.
It should be noted, having a high financial value doesn't always guarantee success. After all, Tottenham Hotspur is in Sportico's top 10 most valuable clubs but is battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
They are in 18th place with 31 points in 33 games during the 2025-26 campaign.
