The most obvious difference is the addition of a crown above the auto, referencing LeBron's "King James" moniker.
James, 41, is one of the greatest players in NBA history and one of the most iconic athletes of all time, meaning his signed cards and memorabilia will always be in high demand.
Over the course of his 23 seasons in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, James has accrued 22 All-Star and 21 All-NBA selections, four NBA MVP awards, four NBA championships, four NBA Finals MVP awards, one scoring title and the 2003-04 NBA Rookie of the Year Award.
On top of that, James is the league's all-time leader in points scored with over 43,000.
This season could be LeBron's last, as his contract expires at the end of the campaign. Even if James opts to continue playing next season with the Lakers or another team, though, he is undoubtedly in the twilight of his career.
Because of that, it is somewhat surprising that James is altering his autograph at this point, but his items will unquestionably continue to be popular among collectors regardless.
