Steph Curry Sends Tiger Woods His Own Advice on Video Ahead of Injury Return at TGL Final
Tiger Woods got some words of encouragement from an NBA icon ahead of his return to golf at the TGL final on Wednesday.
The golf legend got a call from Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who gave Woods some of his own advice.
"What's up Tiger? Quick thing, just to jog your memory back in 2015, when I was on that chase (for his first championship), you called me and told me, gave me a pep talk, and I was like, 'Yeah, imma go out here and do it.' And you told me to prove it. So I'm just throwing that message right back to you," Curry said.
Woods' advice to Curry back in 2015 obviously worked, as he ended up leading the Warriors to a title and went on to win three more.
Woods' club didn't fare as well as the 2015 Dubs, as Jupiter Links lost to Los Angeles Golf Club in the TGL finals, but he at least managed to compete for the first time since 2024.
Now, Woods will look to continue working his way back from injury and perhaps be ready for the Masters in just a few weeks.
