Luke Kennard played the hero for the Los Angeles Lakers, knocking down a game-winning 3-pointer to lift Luka Doncic and company to a 105-104 win over the Orlando Magic on Friday.
The win also featured a historic milestone, as LeBron James became the NBA's all-time leader in games played, appearing in his 1,612th career game to pass Hall of Famer Robert Parish in his 23rd season.

Doncic followed up his 60-point performance against Miami on Thursday — his first with the franchise and the first by a Laker since Kobe Bryant's retirement game — with another standout showing.
The 27-year-old entered the matchup against Orlando averaging 43 points over the Lakers' previous five games while leading the league with 33.4 points per game this season.
He continued his hot streak Saturday, finishing with 33 points, five rebounds, eight assists and fours steals in the win.
James capped his record-breaking night with 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in the buzzer-beating win.
Role players Austin Reaves and Kennard delivered standout performances. Reaves finished with 26 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block, while Kennard added 13 points, including the game-winner, and three rebounds.
The Lakers picked up their ninth straight win, improving to 46-25 and holding firm in third place in the Western Conference.
They will look to take on one of the East's best, the Detroit Pistons, on the road Monday.
