Rob Gronkowski Suffers Injury at Fanatics Flag Football Classic, Former NFL Star Reveals Status
Former star tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered a hamstring injury while participating in Saturday's Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Gronkowski pulled a hamstring after catching a two-point conversion from former teammate Tom Brady during the event before revealing that he was finished for the day in a broadcast interview, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
Gronkowski was competing in the event as part of the Founders team that also included Brady, Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, Stefon Diggs, Ashton Jeanty and Von Miller.

Despite the 36-year-old's early exit, he was still able to haul in multiple passes from Brady.
Gronkowski played in the NFL from 2010 through 2021, spending every season of his career as teammates with the league's all-time leading passer. They won four Super Bowls together, as three came with the New England Patriots and one came with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Gronkowski's last season in the league occurred in 2021, capping off a stellar career.
He ranks No. 1 on New England's all-time touchdown catches leaderboard and sits at No. 2 on the team's all-time receiving list. Gronkowski signed a one-day contract to officially retire as a member of the Patriots in Nov. 2025.
Now, he serves as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports.
