LeBron James Reveals He Wants to Collect Trading Cards of Himself, Michael Jordan, More on Video
In a rare moment when LeBron James shows himself to be just like a regular person instead of a superhuman athlete, the NBA legend only wants trading cards of the best players.
A video from Topps featuring James opening packs of cards included him identifying himself, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and other "great players over the years" from NBA history.

These are obvious names that every collector wants because they are the most valuable, though James did include Penny Hardaway in his list.
Hardaway was on his way to legend status early in his career with the Orlando Magic before injuries knocked him off track. He still carved out a strong 14-year career, but he will forever be one of the great "what if?" players had he not racked up so many injuries.
James also cited cards of two of his contemporaries, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, that he likes to collect.
Even though James is generally regarded as the best player of this generation, Curry does have the advantage on him in terms of valuable trading cards.
The 2009-10 Panini National Treasures Stephen Curry Rookie Logoman Autograph card is the second-most expensive NBA card ever sold. It went for $5.9 million in 2021, trailing only a Jordan and Kobe Bryant Dual Logoman Autographs card from the 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection that sold for $12.9 million at auction.
James' 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Rookie Patch Autographs card ranks third on the list with a sale price of $5.2 million.
