Nkemdiche Vital to Ole Miss Despite Underwhelming Stats
Plenty of hype has followed Nkemdiche since he arrived in Oxford as a 247Sports 5-star recruit. Although his stats to date aren't stupendous, the junior has made a tremendous impact on the Rebels defense.
On that note, Jon Solomon of CBS Sports noted the Rebels coaching staff isn't doing much to help the draft stock of Nkemdiche by using him in a role that's not his specialty.
Nkemdiche is having the best season of his college career, as his 5.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks coming into Saturday nearly equaled his previous bests in those categories (eight tackles for loss, two sacks).
The Rebels have high hopes in 2015 even after a blowout loss against Florida, and Nkemdiche's presence on the defensive line is essential to reaching those heights.
