Against the wounded Warriors, Brunson finished with a game-high 30 points and nine assists to help lift the Knicks to an impressive comeback win.

The Knicks now sit at 44-25 in the Eastern Conference and continue to close in on the No. 2-seeded Boston Celtics, trailing them by one game.

Towns added a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, erupting in the third quarter after struggling in the first half.

OG Anunoby added 14 points and four rebounds, while Jordan Clarkson scored 14 off the bench and Landry Shamet chipped in 10 off the bench.

Without their star-power, the Warriors held a nine-point lead over the Knicks at the break, powered by Brandin Podziemski with 14 and Quinten Post and Gary Payton III each with 10.

Aside from Brunson with 17 points, New York's starters struggled ahead of halftime, combining for just 16 points total.

The Knicks took its lead with 1:07 remaining in the third, 81-80 and continued to build off it in the fourth quarter as both teams traded buckets down the stretch.

Podziemski nailed a two-pointer to bring Golden State within one with 7.2 seconds left, but the Knicks knocked down their free throws and came up with a defensive stop on the other end to seal the comeback.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr noted that Green is hopeful to play Monday in Washington, while Porziņģis and Melton are also expected to return, per The Athletic's Nick Friedell

Curry traveled with the team on the long road trip in a positive sign but has not played since Jan. 30.

Meanwhile, the Knicks will host Pascal Siakam and the playoff eliminated Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
