'Ain't No Stopping Kawhi,' Anthony Edwards Says Clippers Star Among Best NBA Players Ever
On the heels of an incredible 45-point effort in the Los Angeles Clippers' 153-128 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night, Kawhi Leonard earned high praise from Anthony Edwards.
Edwards told reporters after the game there "ain't no stopping Kawhi" and he "may be one of the best players to ever play the game" when he's fully healthy.

Leonard dropped 45 on 15-of-20 shooting (6-of-9 from three) against Edwards and the T-Wolves on Wednesday. He also had five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes.
It's the second time this season a player has recorded at least 45 points on 20 or fewer field-goal attempts. Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray did it against the Utah Jazz on March 2.
Edwards also had a stellar game with 36 points on 11-of-17 shooting in defeat.
As the Clippers have torn down their roster around Leonard this season, he has picked up his level of play. The two-time NBA Finals MVP is averaging a career-high 28.3 points per game on 50.3 percent shooting, 6.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
After missing 10 consecutive games early in the season due to a sprained ankle, Leonard has started 45 of the past 49 games for the Clippers. They are 26-19 in his starts.
Wednesday's win moved the Clippers over .500 for the first time this season (33-32). It's marks an incredible turnaround for a team that was 6-21 after a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 18.
Leonard is the biggest driving force of the Clippers' surge. Even now at 34 years old, he looks like one of the best players in the entire league.
The Clippers probably don't have enough overall talent to make any noise in the playoffs if they get in, but opposing teams would have their hands full trying to stop Leonard as long as he can stay healthy by the time the postseason tips off.
