New Trey Hendrickson Rumors Reveal Bills Interest Among Potential Landing Spots in NFL Free Agency
The Buffalo Bills have made contact with representatives for free-agent pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson, according to Ryan Talbot of Syracuse.com.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday on Get Up that Hendrickson is "talking to a bunch of teams, but nobody has met his price just yet."

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Houston Texans reportedly signed Danielle Hunter to a one-year, $40 million extension, which keeps him around through 2027. The Carolina Panthers, meanwhile, pulled off a bit of a shocker when they agreed to a four-year, $120 million pact with Jaelan Phillips, per Schefter.
Hendrickson is a four-time Pro Bowler who totaled 70.5 sacks from 2020-24. He led the NFL in the category two seasons ago.
An annual salary somewhere between what Hunter and Phillips are getting would seemingly be a reasonable target. Based on the fact he's still unsigned, teams may not be willing to go that high.
Hendrickson turned 31 in December and is coming off a year in which he missed 10 games because of a core muscle injury. Those two factors could be driving his market down.
Some Bills fans might be a little wary of the team pursuing another notable sack artist into his 30s.
Five-time Pro Bowler Joey Bosa finished with five sacks in 2025. Surefire Hall of Famer Von Miller had 14 total sacks in Buffalo before getting cut midway through the six-year contract he signed in 2022.
But when Hendrickson may have to settle for less than he was hoping, it's an idea worth considering for the Bills, who have a clear need for a good edge defender.
