On Tuesday, Livvy Dunne—who is dating Skenes—took to Instagram Stories to react to Durant's post: "Sometimes u gotta sit back, relax and agree with KD."
Skenes, the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner, led the United States to another win after it downed Brazil and Great Britain to start the WBC last week. Skenes got the win after throwing four shutout innings while allowing just one hit and striking out seven in a 5-3 win.
Durant hasn't been quite as active on social media since rumors of a Twitter burner surfaced during the All-Star break. Durant said last month that he was "not here to get into Twitter nonsense."
