Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves Impress Fans with LeBron Out in Lakers' Win vs. Jalen Brunson, Knicks

Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves combined for 60 points in the Los Angeles Lakers' Sunday win over the New York Knicks.

The Lakers, who played without LeBron James due to injury, rode the pair of guards to their 39th victory of the season.

Doncic knocked down four threes and added eight rebounds and four assists to his 32-point showing.

Twenty-eight of Doncic's points came in the first three quarters.

Reaves produced a 25-point performance in which he also had five assists and four rebounds.

Jalen Brunson scored 24 points in defeat for the Knicks. Karl-Anthony Towns also chipped in 25 points.

The win helped the Lakers continue their quest for a top-three seed in the Western Conference.

The Lakers are a full game back of the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves for the No. 3 seed.

Sunday's win should help continue momentum into an upcoming tough stretch in which the Lakers play Minnesota, Denver and Houston twice.
