Todd McShay Drops Top 100 Big Board for 2026 NFL Draft After Combine, Is Love or Styles No. 1?
Coming out of the NFL scouting combine last weekend, Todd McShay has unveiled his new top 100 big board for the 2026 draft.
On the latest episode of The McShay Show podcast (starts at 12:40 mark), McShay still has Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love at the very top of his board, it was Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles making a huge jump up to No. 2 after his incredible workout.
Here is how McShay has the top 10 players ranked on his latest big board:

- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
- Arvell Reese, EDGE, Ohio State
- David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech

Love was atop McShay's pre-combine top 50 rankings released on Feb. 20. It's not a surprise he maintained that position after posting one of the best running back workouts at the combine in the past decade.
Styles became the darling of the combine with how he performed in Indianapolis. The Buckeyes star set a combine record in the vertical jump for a player who is at least 6'4", led all linebackers in the vertical and broad jump, then ran the 40 in 4.46 seconds.
McShay had Styles ranked as the No. 2 linebacker and 14th overall prospect in the draft prior to the combine. Now it would be a surprise if he gets out of the top five.
B/R's NFL scouting department projected Styles to go No. 4 to the Tennessee Titans in its updated mock draft.
There's an equal split between offensive and defensive players in McShay's top 10. Arvell Reese, David Bailey and Rueben Bain Jr. are all bunched together in the race to be the top EDGE off the board.
One thing McShay highlighted is the overall depth of this receiver class. Even though Carnell Tate is the only one in the top 10, there are four others ranked between 11 and 19 on his board.
USC's Makai Lemon is McShay's second-ranked wideout at No. 12 overall, followed by Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson (No. 15), Washington's Denzel Boston (No. 17) and Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr. (No. 19).
McShay also has Texas A&M's KC Concepcion as a borderline first-round talent at No. 27 overall.
Even though this isn't necessarily the draft class for teams that need a quarterback, the depth of high-ceiling talent at virtually every other position on the field suggests there are going to be many players taken in the first round who can shift the playoff race for their team very early in their careers.
