LeBron James, Luka Doncic Dazzle NBA Fans as Lakers Cruise Past Russell Westbrook, Kings

Luka Doncic and LeBron James powered the Los Angeles Lakers to a 128-104 win over the Sacramento Kings and Russell Westbrook on the second night of a back-to-back Sunday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The Lakers swept their back-to-back in dominant fashion, winning by a combined 52 points — 28 over Golden State and 24 over Sacramento.

The Kings were without several key contributors, including Domantas Sabonis, who is out for the season with a meniscus injury.

Despite Sacramento's absences, Los Angeles' starters controlled the game from the outset. Doncic led the way with 28 points, five rebounds and nine assists, while James added 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting with five assists and two steals.

Austin Reaves and Deandre Ayton each scored 12 points, Luke Kennard added 11 and Bronny James chipped in three off the bench to cap the convincing victory.

The Kings were paced by Westbrook, who finished with 14 points, five assists and four rebounds, while Nique Clifford poured in 26 points. DeMar DeRozan added nine points and eight assists in the loss.

The back-to-back sweep pushed the Lakers to 36-24, holding sixth place in the Western Conference and sitting 1.5 games behind Denver. Sacramento dropped to 14-48, remaining last in the West.

Los Angeles built a 64-49 halftime lead behind 15 points from Doncic. Austin Reaves added 12 at the break, Deandre Ayton had 10 and James chipped in seven. Westbrook led Sacramento with 12 first-half points, Clifford added 10 and DeRozan had four.

The Lakers kept their foot on the gas in the third quarter, stretching the lead to 20 entering the fourth and never allowing the Kings to mount a comeback.

Los Angeles will have a day off before hosting the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.
