Manziel Recalls Being Heckled After Vanderbilt Beat Alabama, The 'F--k You Still Chirping About?'

Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is still catching strays from the Alabama fan base all these years later.

During an episode of his Glory Daze podcast (6:30 mark), Manziel reminisced with Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia over the Commodores' 40-35 win over the Crimson Tide in 2024 and revealed that he was subjected to some heckling just for being in attendance at the game.

"I walked off pretty much right behind you guys, and I saw the guy to the left as you were going into the locker room," Manziel said. "I saw that guy chirping, he was chirping me! I didn't even play! I beat y'all's ass 10, 12 years ago. F--k you still chirping about? I'm so in your head that you have to say something to me."

Of course, the vitriol that Alabama fans have for Manziel stems from him leading the Aggies to an upset win over the No. 1 Crimson Tide as a redshirt freshman during the 2012 season. The victory launched Manziel to national stardom and was a key moment in his run to the Heisman Trophy that year, which made him the first freshman ever to win the coveted award.

It's clear that Alabama fans won't be forgiving Manziel anytime soon, so he will have to get used to some barbs coming his way anytime he visits Tuscaloosa.
