Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry are already hard at work to build out the field for the NBA's Three-Point Contest in 2027.

The Portland Trail Blazers guard shared a screenshot of a conversation with Curry in which the Golden State Warriors star confirms his intent to enter the event. They mention the Dallas Mavericks' Klay Thompson and Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker as other candidates:

Lillard, who's recuperating from a torn Achilles, won his third Three-Point Contest on Saturday, tying the all-time record for the event. He posted a score of 29 in the final round, besting Booker (27) and Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel (17).

Curry is already on the record putting his name in the hat for 2027. He said on NBA Showtime he's "100 percent" prepared to compete for an eighth time.

Booker has likewise signaled a willingness to return with the All-Star Game taking place in his home market.

"This one hurt a little bit. I wanted this one bad," he said. "Wish I was defending it in Phoenix but it'll probably be the last time I do it next year if I get the invite. I'm looking forward to it."

If Lillard, Curry and Booker are all on board, then Thompson may not need a hard sell. He last entered the event in 2018 and was the 2016 champion.

Accounting for that quartet, the NBA would have four more slots to fill for next year.
