Steelers Legend Joey Porter Rips Ben Roethlisberger in Video, 'Broke the Brotherhood'
Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter provided an honest and blunt assessment of his ex-teammate, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, during an appearance on the Not Just Football podcast, hosted by current Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward.
To quickly set the scene, Roethlisberger (and former Steeler linebacker) James Harrison have made numerous remarks regarding now former Steeler head coach Mike Tomlin. Roethlisberger said on his podcast in December that it perhaps it was time for the Steelers and Tomlin to part ways. He also said that Tomlin should have been harder on younger players. Harrison has been more critical on his podcast, saying he doesn't believe Tomlin is a Hall of Famer, claiming that the ex-coach lied to him in the past and saying that he "never thought Tomlin was a great coach."

Porter had some words in response, but his criticism was particularly pointed at Roethlisberger.
"Well, [Harrison] broke the brotherhood, then [Roethlisberger] definitely broke the brotherhood because, like...the s--t that [Roethlisberger] do, that did, that we don't talk about is crazy. Out of anybody who should talk, he should never grab a microphone and really talk Steeler business, because if we talk Steeler business, his ass is foul of all foul. Like, the s--t that he did is foul of all foul. He's not a good teammate. Won a Super Bowl with him, but the person, he's just not a good teammate."
It seemed as though Porter had some support from ex-Steelers.
Porter, whose son currently plays cornerback for the Steelers, suited up in Pittsburgh from 1999-2006. The 2005 Steelers won the Super Bowl in Roethlisberger's second season. Porter earned Pro Bowl and Second Team All-Pro honors that year.
As for Tomlin, he parted ways with the Steelers after 19 seasons. Pittsburgh never had a losing season under Tomlin and won the AFC North eight times, the AFC twice and the Super Bowl once.
