Giannis' Injury Return Reportedly Revealed Ahead of Celtics Game as Bucks Eye NBA Playoffs Push
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to the court for Monday's game against the Boston Celtics, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Antetokounmpo hasn't played since Jan. 23 due to a right calf strain, marking his second calf injury of the 2025-26 season.
ESPN's Jamal Collier reported Feb. 10 that the two-time MVP would return this year and it would come "perhaps as soon as sometime later this month after the All-Star break."

Antetokounmpo's 2025-26 campaign has been an eventful one, with the Bucks reportedly fielding offers for him ahead of the Feb. 5 trade deadline as the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks all showed interest in a potential swap.
While the nine-time All-Star has been limited to just 30 of Milwaukee's 59 regular-season games this year, he's remained dominant on both ends of the floor when available.
Antetokounmpo has averaged 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks per game while shooting 64.5 percent from the field. He's also connected on 15 of his 38 three-point attempts.
The Bucks sit 11th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 26-33 record, though. Having Giannis back will help their odds of at least securing a play-in berth.
