Barack Obama Celebrates Sam Darnold, Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks Defense After Super Bowl Win
Former President Barack Obama saluted the Seattle Seahawks for their 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night.
He spotlighted the performances of Seattle's defense and running back Kenneth Walker III, adding that quarterback Sam Darnold delivered "one of the best comeback stories in a long time."

Darnold didn't play all that well, finishing 19-of-38 for 202 yards and a touchdown. But the 28-year-old has come a long way from being discarded by both the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. The Minnesota Vikings' decision to let him walk as a free agent doesn't look great in retrospect, either.
Super Bowl LX is bound to be remembered most for how much the Seahawks defense suffocated the Patriots and NFL MVP runner-up Drake Maye.
Maye had three turnovers and six sacks, and running backs Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson combined for 42 rushing yards on 13 carries. New England's offense didn't get on the board until the fourth quarter.
The Patriots, who averaged the third-most yards in the regular season, simply couldn't get anything going until the outcome was pretty much decided.
Walker, meanwhile, was named the Super Bowl MVP after running for 135 yards and catching two passes for 26 yards.
As an overall spectacle, Super Bowl LX left a little something to be desired. But nobody was doubting Seattle's status as the NFL's best team once the game ended.
