'F--king Assh--e,' Knicks' Jalen Brunson Jokes About Josh Hart After Social Media Exchange
New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson wasn't interested in detailing the events that led up to his playful social media exchange with teammate Josh Hart.
"Nothing. I don't want to talk about it," Brunson told reporters Sunday. "I'm really not talking about it."
"He's a f--king a--hole man," he jokingly added. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry"
Brunson previously called out his teammate in a Saturday post on X, although Hart didn't seem to take the situation seriously.
Brunson and Hart have developed a reputation for poking fun at each other, and they don't appear to be stopping anytime soon.
The pair were previously teammates in college at Villanova from 2015-17, winning a national championship together. They also co-host the Roommates Show podcast.
Brunson has remained the Knicks' offensive engine this season, earning his third straight All-Star nod. He's averaged 27.1 points, 6.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game on 46.9/37.5/84.9 shooting splits.
As for Hart, he's continued to showcase his all-around impact.
He's recorded 12.2 points and 5.0 assists per game this year, shooting 50.1 percent from the field and a career-high 40.4 percent from three-point territory. Hart is also pulling down 7.5 rebounds on a nightly basis, ranking No. 5 among all guards (via NBA.com).
The Knicks currently sit at No. 2 in the Eastern Conference standings with a 34-19 record, as they've won nine of their past 10 games.
