Shedeur Sanders Thanks Coaches, Players, Fans After 2026 NFL Pro Bowl, 'Amazing Experience'
Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders had nothing but good things to say about his experience at the Pro Bowl Games on Tuesday.
After participating in the flag football game at Moscone Center in San Francisco as an alternate, Sanders took to social media to make a post in which he thanked everyone involved and expressed how much he enjoyed being part of it:

Although the NFC beat Sanders' AFC squad 66-52, Shedeur had his fair share of highlights, including touchdown passes to Denver Broncos offensive tackle Garett Bolles and Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins:
Originally, the NFL selected Drake Maye of the New England Patriots, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers as the AFC's three Pro Bowl quarterbacks.
However, Maye had to prepare for the Super Bowl, and both Allen and Herbert opted not to participate, which opened the door for others to get elevated into the Pro Bowl spotlight.
Sanders was among those who benefited, along with Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco.
The NFL caught some flack for the replacement choices, including that of Sanders since his regular-season numbers didn't exactly jump off the page.
A fifth-round pick out of Colorado, Sanders started the Browns' final seven games of the season, going 3-4. He also finished the campaign with 1,400 passing yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions, while rushing for 169 yards and one touchdown.
Those are nowhere near Pro Bowl numbers under normal circumstances, but the NFL seemed to be hamstrung by a lack of interest from players in participating.
Sanders was willing to show up, and he helped put on an entertaining show, which is among the main goals of the Pro Bowl Games.
He also got to mingle with some of the best players and coaches the NFL has to offer, which could have a positive impact on Sanders as he prepares for his second NFL campaign.
