Georgia Football Top Remaining Recruits and 2026 Recruiting Class Predictions
The traditional signing period for college football's 2026 recruiting cycle has arrived, and it'll be a quiet day at Georgia.
Because of the December window, a near-total majority of the work is wrapped up. Head coach Kirby Smart and his staff are only waiting on a few unsigned commitments before the class is formally complete.
Nevertheless, the Dawgs have a couple of prospects to know as the first Wednesday of February signals the end of the 2026 haul.
All recruiting data is from the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Remaining Targets
2 of 3
Beyond the committed players, there isn't anyone left on Georgia's board. The program has shifted its focus to the 2027 and 2028 cycles.
However, that doesn't mean UGA is finished with the 2026 class.
Four-star cornerback Chase Calicut, who committed to the Dawgs last June, is unsigned due to legal matters. He had felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dropped in early January, but it's unclear if he'll be allowed to enroll at the school or when it might happen.
Georgia otherwise is waiting for signatures from a pair of special-teamers—punter Wade Register and long-snapper Colton Dermer. They are ranked first and second, respectively, at their position in this cycle.
One possible exception in the 2026 class is 3-star running back Will Rajecki, who backed off a pledge to Memphis in December.
Predictions

Barring a surprise, the Dawgs are unlikely to add anyone to their 2026 haul. Rajecki was on the radar, but Georgia then landed a commitment from Kentucky transfer Dante Dowdell to bolster the running back room.
Calicut's future is uncertain at best, and no recent reporting suggests he'll be signing with UGA in the immediate future.
Register and Dermer will probably be the final additions to the class, one that is expected to finish as the No. 6 group nationally.
Georgia has signed a top-10 recruiting haul in every year since Smart headed to Athens prior to the 2016 season.
